I love working with any kind of fabric, whether stitching, dyeing, painting or just generally manipulating. I like to experiment and hopefully, one day, I will find my own voice
I can’t watch all the slideshow here. it just won’t open completely as I’m so slow but I did manage to see a part of it in Google Reader. Thank you for posting them. It looked like a great show and I’m sure food for the soul!
Love the slideshow!!! I missed some of those ones too!! Not to worry. The tentmakers were fabulous, didn’t see them till the last minute and was lucky enough to see one of the men stitching away! How fast!!! WOW!!
Lovely to see such an array of beautiful Quilts Maggi. I couldn’t get to the NEC this year, so thanks so much for taking the time and trouble to share. Wonderful stuff!! and all so inspiring!
Thanks for your lovely comments on my blog recently, much appreciated.
Hi Maggi,
Many thanks for these as I was unable to view the Quilts myself, I tried but my neck wouldn’t allow it. So this is great for me to see, plus I know Annette has loads of pictures to show as well, so I will probably see most of the show. Great meeting up with you and the others. I enjoyed it, hope everyone else did!!!!
Maggi, thanks so much for sharing all these photos of those wonderful quilts. Like Jan, I click on them to get a really good look. I am not a quilter, but I would love to go to a show like that. Cheers
this is so cool to be able to see these wonderful works. I like clicking on them and getting as close as possible. thanks for sharing, maggi!
I remember Annabel from the Alternative Quilt list, she always had interesting work and this piece is no exception.
